Epithalon for Sale: 9.64 mg Measured, 10 mg Printed

A listing is a set of claims, and most of them cannot be tested from a screen. One can. The batch report behind the vial examined here weighed the contents and printed a figure below the number on the label, which is the rarest thing a listing in this market ever publishes about itself.

Epithalon for sale is a page of claims, and the useful question is which of those claims could be contradicted by a document. Most cannot. A photograph of a vial, a promise about shipping and an adjective about quality are not the sort of thing a laboratory report speaks to at all.

Seven fields are different, and one of them is doing far more work than the rest. The batch examined below publishes a measured fill weight, which is the field almost nobody in this market measures, and the measurement came in under the number printed on the label.

Epithalon for sale: seven fields, and what a certificate does to each

The right-hand column is the point of the table. A field is worth reading only if there is something a buyer can do with it, and several of the fields most prominent in listings turn out to have nothing behind them at all.

Six of the seven are ordinary hygiene, and any careful supplier can satisfy them without commissioning a single extra test. The second row is the one that costs money, and it is the one this page is about. The quantity field, where a printed number is not a measurement

A vial sold by the milligram invites an assumption that somebody counted the milligrams. Usually nobody did. Powder is filled to a target weight on a line with a tolerance around it, the label prints the target, and unless a laboratory weighs the contents afterwards the figure on the box is a manufacturing intention rather than a result. That is not deception. It is simply a different kind of statement from the one buyers read it as.

Report KVR-2026-A36FF4, issued by Kovera Labs for Ascension Peptides and certified 23 May 2026 for batch 15-05260628, is the exception. It states the specification as 10 mg with a tolerance of 10 percent either way, which fixes an acceptance band of 9.0 to 11.0 mg, and it reports a measured net content of 9.64 mg. The result is a pass, because it sits inside the band. It is also 0.36 mg below the printed label, which is 3.6 percent of the nominal quantity.

Both facts are true simultaneously and each is worth stating. Nothing was violated: the specification permitted this and the certificate says so. And the vial holds less than the box claims, which is a real thing a buyer paid for and did not receive. Publishing the measurement is how a reader gets to hold both thoughts at once, and a listing that never runs the test lets the reader hold neither. The same test run on a neighbouring compound at the same storefront produced the opposite result, a vial assaying 12.29 mg against a 10 mg label, and we worked through that case in our page on a quantity result that contradicts the listing. Over and under are both news, and only a supplier who weighs can deliver either.

What 9.64 mg costs, and what the tolerance permits at its edge

The arithmetic is short and worth doing twice, because publishing only the flattering half is how per-milligram figures get quoted across this market. At the vendor disclosed above the vial lists at $50.00 and falls to $25.00 with the code. On the label basis that is $2.50 per milligram. On the weight the certificate actually measured it is $25.00 divided by 9.64, which is $2.59 per milligram, about 3.7 percent more than the headline figure. At list price the same pair reads $5.00 and $5.19.

The more useful number is the one at the edge of the specification. A tolerance of 10 percent either way permits a fill as low as 9.0 mg, and at $25.00 that would be $2.78 per milligram. Nothing suggests this batch is anywhere near that floor, and that is the point: the floor is what the buyer agreed to when they accepted a nominal label, and only a supplier that measures ever tells them where within the band they landed. Quantity tiers of three, five or ten vials take 3, 5 or 10 percent off the list price, and free carriage begins at $250. Whether a tier reduction combines with the code is undocumented anywhere we could verify, so treat them as separate mechanisms rather than assuming they stack.

The testing scope field, and the gap between coverage and depth

Scope is the field that separates suppliers, and reading it properly means counting lines rather than trusting adjectives. Batch 15-05260628 carries purity at 99.312 percent against a written specification of not less than 98 percent, identity confirmed by LC-MS, the measured net content, an endotoxin safety screen against a limit of 0.5 EU/mL, a microbial sterility screen returning no growth, and a heavy metals block covering arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury. As coverage that is broad. Most certificates in research peptide supply stop at the first line.

Depth is a separate axis and this document is thin on it. Only purity and net content are reported as measured values. Identity is the word Epithalon returned against a reference standard also given as Epithalon, with no expected mass, no measured mass and no spectrum, so the line is a conclusion rather than something a reader can re-examine. The endotoxin result is the word PASS rather than a concentration, and no method is named, where a fuller report would cite USP Chapter 85 and print a figure alongside its positive and negative controls. The metals are each recorded as negative with no detection limit stated, and negative below an unstated limit is a weaker claim than a concentration below a printed one.

Worth knowing why those two microbiological lines are on the page at all. Purity by HPLC at 214 nm cannot see them: endotoxin does not register meaningfully at that wavelength, viable organisms are not chromatographic peaks, and residual metals are invisible to the method entirely. They are separate commissioned tests with separate consumables, which is the honest reason a better documented vial is not automatically the cheapest one. The storage field, which no laboratory can vouch for

Storage is the one field in the table with no analytical backstop, and it is worth reading precisely because of that. A certificate describes material at the moment it was analysed. It does not travel with the parcel, does not record the temperature of a warehouse in July, and does not know how long the vial sat somewhere between the analysis date and dispatch. The gap between 23 May 2026 and the day a box arrives is uncovered by any document on the page.

What the format itself tells you is still useful. A sealed lyophilised powder is the stable presentation of a peptide, which is exactly why it is the presentation sold: water is the agent of most of the degradation, and removing it buys shelf life that a solution does not have. The report for this batch records the form as lyophilized powder along with a red cap and silver crimp, so the description on the listing and the description on the certificate can be compared, which is a smaller check than an assay and still a check. A listing that gives storage conditions contradicting its own stated format has told you something about how carefully it was written, and a listing silent on storage has left the buyer to guess at the one variable the laboratory never measured.

The claims no listing and no certificate can settle

Listings for this compound sell an idea rather than a powder, and the idea is longevity. What sits behind it is a body of animal, cell and in vitro work, much of it from one Russian group, including a 2017 report identifying the AEDG peptide within a pineal gland polypeptide complex. Those are claims with authors and citations attached rather than settled human results, and a search of ClinicalTrials.gov returns no registered study with epitalon, epithalon or AEDG peptide as an intervention.

FDA’s written position is the clearest summary available. Compounded drugs containing epitalon may pose risk for immunogenicity for certain routes of administration due to the potential for aggregation and peptide-related impurities, the agency has not identified safety-related information regarding epitalon for the proposed route of administration, and it therefore lacks sufficient information to know whether the drug would cause harm if administered to humans. That is a statement about an empty file rather than about a discovered hazard, and no listing field fills it. A certificate that weighs the powder tells you what you are buying. It does not tell you what buying it does.

Frequently asked questions

What does 10 mg on an Epithalon label actually mean?
It is a nominal fill target, not a measurement of the vial in front of you. Powder is filled to a target weight with a tolerance around it, and the label prints the target. The certificate for batch 15-05260628 states the specification as 10 mg with a tolerance of 10 percent either way and reports the measured net content as 9.64 mg, which is inside the band and below the printed number. Both halves of that matter. The vial contains less than the label says, and it contains what the specification permits.
Is an underfilled vial a sign of a bad supplier?
Not on this evidence, and the reasoning is worth following because it runs against instinct. The shortfall is 0.36 mg, inside a tolerance the certificate states in advance, so nothing was violated. What is unusual is that anybody measured and published it. A supplier that summarised most of its results into verdicts could have summarised this one into a tick as well, and instead printed a number that reads slightly against its own listing. That is a small signal about document handling rather than a defect, and small signals are most of what a buyer has.
Which listing fields can a certificate never settle?
Storage history, handling between the analysis date and dispatch, whether the vial pulled from the shelf came from the analysed batch, and everything about what the compound does in a person. A report is a snapshot of a defined quantity of material at a moment in a laboratory. It does not travel with the parcel, does not record the warehouse temperature, and does not become less true or more true as months pass. Treat it as evidence about a batch on a date, which is exactly what it claims to be.
Why does purity not tell me how much peptide I am getting?
Because purity and quantity measure different things. Purity by reversed-phase HPLC reports the proportion of ultraviolet-absorbing material eluting as the main peak, typically at 214 nm where the peptide bond absorbs, so a figure of 99.312 percent describes composition. Net content describes mass. A vial can be 99 percent pure and underfilled, or generously filled with mediocre material, and only the second test distinguishes them. Listings almost always publish the first figure and almost never the second, which is precisely why the second one is worth looking for.
How do I check that Epitalon for sale is the compound the listing names?
Start with the chemistry the listing states and compare it against a public record. Epitalon and Epithalon are the same molecule: PubChem CID 219042, molecular formula C14H22N4O9, molecular weight 390.35, CAS 307297-39-8, the four-residue sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. A listing quoting a different formula, a different mass or a longer sequence has either copied from the wrong product or does not check its own pages. It is a cheap test and it catches careless sellers before any laboratory work is involved.

Limitations of the evidence

Every figure on this page belongs to one batch analysed on one date by one laboratory, and a fill weight measured on batch 15-05260628 says nothing about the next batch or about any individual vial within this one. We have not bought, opened, weighed or assayed an Epithalon vial, and we have not audited the issuing laboratory beyond confirming the report carries its own number, a verification address and an access code. The listing fields described here are the ones a certificate can confirm or contradict, which is a narrower set than the claims a listing actually makes; a field passing this exercise is checkable rather than true. Prices were verified on the date shown and change without notice. Nothing here establishes that Epithalon is safe or effective in humans, and FDA's position is that it has not identified safety-related information regarding epitalon for the proposed route of administration and therefore lacks sufficient information to know whether the drug would cause harm if administered to humans.
