Nine listing claims and the record that would prove each
None of these claims is inherently dishonest. Each is simply unverifiable in the form it usually appears, and each has an obvious substantiating document that a seller either publishes or does not.

Purity tiers, and why a percentage is not a tier
Sellers sometimes present purity as a ladder, with 98 percent below 99 percent below 99.5 percent, as though the numbers were interchangeable units. They are not. Purity by reversed-phase HPLC is a relative area measurement at a chosen wavelength, and comparing figures produced by two undisclosed methods compares nothing.
The principle underlying this is ordinary analytical practice: a result means something only in the context of a method demonstrated to be fit for the purpose, which is what ICH Q2(R2) formalises for regulated work. Research suppliers are not bound by it, so the burden of asking what method produced the number falls on the buyer.
One consequence is worth stating plainly. Between a 99.2 percent figure with no method and a 97.8 percent figure with a named laboratory, a stated wavelength, an attached chromatogram and a matching lot number, the second listing is the better-evidenced product. Anyone shopping for retatrutide peptides for sale on headline percentages alone is ranking on the least reliable field in the listing.
Grade language: terms with nothing behind them
Pharmaceutical grade and USP grade both borrow authority from compendial standards. For retatrutide there is no monograph and no approved product, so there is no specification either term could point at. The words are doing rhetorical work, not descriptive work.
GMP is a different case. Good manufacturing practice is a real and demanding process standard, but it describes how a facility operates, and no product analysis demonstrates it. Blends and pre-mixed solutions: two analytical problems
A blend is a mixture, and a mixture needs a method that separates its components. A single purity number for a two-peptide vial cannot apportion the mass between them, so it cannot distinguish a correct formulation from one weighted toward the cheaper ingredient. The certificate should show two resolved peaks and two measured masses. If it shows one of each, it was written for a different product.
Pre-mixed solutions carry the harder problem. Peptides degrade faster in aqueous solution than as dry cake, so a ready-to-use product needs stability data specific to that formulation, and the powder certificate provides none. Cold chain matters more too: the FDA has recorded complaints about compounded injectable GLP-1 products arriving warm or with inadequate ice packs. A pen-style presentation adds a further problem that is not analytical at all, since a device designed for self-administration is difficult to reconcile with research-use labelling.
What a listing has to disclose to be checkable
Five fields make a listing assessable: the lot number, the testing laboratory, the analytical methods with their conditions, the water content and salt form, and the terms of sale. The fourth of those is the one buyers most often overlook, and it changes the price comparison directly.
