The two published certificates cover different lots and disagree on fill: Kovera Labs assays batch 55-05260628 at 11.41 mg, MZ Biolabs assays lot 55-01260229 at 8.30 mg, both against a 10 mg label, moving the real figure between $5.87/mg and $8.07/mg. Endotoxin and sterility screens appear on the Kovera lot only, so testing scope here is a batch property rather than a product feature. Buyers routinely collapse purity, identity, quantity and sterility into a single notion of quality. They are four different measurements, produced by different methods, and a certificate can carry any subset of them.

The distinction matters because vendors advertise the one that is cheapest to produce and quietest about the ones that are not.

Where the two published certificates diverge

Ascension publishes two certificates for this product, produced by two laboratories covering two different batches. Read together they demonstrate the point above better than any argument could.

Kovera Labs certified batch 55-05260628 in June 2026 at 99.411% purity with net content of 11.41 mg. MZ Biolabs analysed lot 55-01260229 in January 2026 at 99.97% purity with net content of 8.30 mg. Both vials carried a 10 mg label, and both purity results were excellent.

One batch therefore came in roughly 14% above the labelled mass and the other roughly 17% below, a spread of about 37% invisible to anyone reading purity alone. Neither report is defective; they are measuring different properties and reporting both honestly.

The second divergence is scope. The June batch carries endotoxin and sterility screens; the January batch carries neither. Testing scope is a property of the batch, so a claim that this product is endotoxin tested generalises from one certificate to a product line it does not cover.

The D-retro-inverso identity problem

One analytical subtlety is specific to this compound and worth stating, because it limits what an identity check can prove.

FOXO4-DRI is built from D-amino acids assembled in reversed sequence. That construction gives it the same atomic composition, and therefore the same mass, as a peptide made of the corresponding L-amino acids in forward order. Mass spectrometry confirms composition; it does not distinguish stereochemistry.

So an LC-MS identity confirmation on this molecule is genuine evidence and incomplete evidence at the same time. Establishing that the material is the D-retro-inverso form rather than an L-form counterpart requires chiral analysis, which is not part of a standard certificate and is not published for this product by either laboratory.

What none of it establishes

Documentation quality and clinical evidence are unrelated axes, and a well-documented compound with no trials remains a compound with no trials.

FOXO4-DRI has never been administered to a human being in a registered study. ClinicalTrials.gov lists no interventional trial of this peptide. Every efficacy result comes from mice, rats or cultured cells, beginning with the 2017 work reporting restored fitness, fur density and renal function in aged animals.

Senolysis is also not uniformly beneficial. A 2023 report found that eliminating senescent cells could promote the development and progression of pulmonary hypertension, which is a finding a purchase decision should account for rather than a caveat to append.

What should a certificate contain?
At minimum a lot number matching your vial, a named laboratory, purity by HPLC and identity by mass spectrometry. Net content and contamination screening are additional and less commonly published.
Does a purity figure tell me how much peptide I have?
No. Purity is the proportion of present material that is the target molecule; net content is how much material is present. The two published batches assayed 11.41 mg and 8.30 mg while both testing above 99% pure.
Can mass spectrometry confirm this is the D-retro-inverso form?
Not on its own. A D-retro-inverso peptide has the same mass as its L-form counterpart, so mass confirms composition but not stereochemistry. Chiral analysis would be required and is not published here.

Limitations of the evidence

This guide assesses documentation, not efficacy. It cannot establish that FOXO4-DRI does anything useful in a human being: no registered interventional trial of this peptide in humans exists, so there is no clinical evidence, no human pharmacokinetics and no safety profile to weigh against any purchase decision.
