The format the market converged on
The physical product is uniform across suppliers: a 10 mg vial of lyophilised powder under a crimped seal, with a certificate and a research-use designation.
There is no second strength, which removes the per-milligram comparison between vial sizes that is usually available. Ten milligrams is a workable laboratory quantity and an awkward one for anything else.
Two variants warrant refusal rather than scrutiny. Blends pairing FOXO4-DRI with other compounds make any single ingredient's contribution impossible to isolate and complicate certificate interpretation. Pre-reconstituted solution is worse: peptides are lyophilised for shipping specifically because degradation accelerates in solution, so a supplier shipping wet material has either not considered stability or is relying on the buyer not to.

Kovera Labs certified batch 55-05260628 at 99.411% purity with net content of 11.41 mg. MZ Biolabs analysed lot 55-01260229 at 99.97% purity with net content of 8.30 mg. Both vials were labelled 10 mg.
A vial can therefore be 99.97% pure and contain 17% less peptide than its label claims, with no contradiction between those two statements. Purity describes composition; net content describes quantity. Conflating them is the most consequential error a buyer of this compound can make.
What the molecule is, in reference data
FOXO4-DRI is a synthetic peptide constructed from D-amino acids in reversed sequence, a design intended to resist protease degradation while preserving the spatial arrangement needed to engage its binding partner.
Its function is to displace FOXO4 from p53 in senescent cells, permitting apoptosis that the intact interaction prevents. The binding target was characterised structurally in 2025 as the disordered transactivation domain of p53.
Independently verifiable reference data: PubChem CID 167312269, CAS 2460055-10-9, molecular formula C228H388N86O64. Some listings render the name FOX04 with a digit zero; the compound is FOXO4, after Forkhead box protein O4, and the zero is a propagated typo rather than a different substance.
